Problems caused by erectile dysfunction
Erectile dysfunction causes problems for males of various ages. This common problem is directly related to the poor blood flow to the penis. Without a sufficient blood flow to the penis, a male cannot obtain or sustain an erection for sexual pleasure.
There are many problems associated with erectile dysfunction, some of which are physical, psychological, family problems, and such.
Physical Problems
Physical problems associated with erectile dysfunction are the obvious ones. The male cannot obtain or sustain an erection. The male cannot get an erection for any possibility of an erection even when sexually aroused.
The only option for this male, besides the use of Viagra, are sexual aids that can be embarrassing or difficult to manage when involved in an intimate setting, such as in the bedroom for instance. For the male who is able to get an erection, but unable to keep an erection, the same sexual aids could be used, or with the use of Viagra, a normal hard erection can take place.
Psychological problems
Psychological problems can be caused by erectile dysfunction. The male who is unable to obtain or sustain an erection can feel less of a man, or can feel they are unable to please their partner. This can cause problems with confidence not only sexually but in a rippling effect through out the other activities, this man performs daily. The male may have a displaced feeling that he doesn’t belong, can’t fully function as a man, or possibly feel as if they are not worthy of having a partner love them as they are.
Family problems
Males who have erectile problems often have problems in the marriage and with their family. Because the male is unable to get an erection and cannot have an intimate relationship with his partner, this brings about problems that are associated with confidence, and relationships.
Strong relationships are the basis of the family unit. A male who is having intimacy problems with his partner will find that his anger and stress will flow over and affect the children and relationships with everyone else in the family unit.
